A crocodile's tongue does not move. It is held in place at the roof of the mouth by a membrane. Because crocodiles spend so much time underwater, the tongue helps keep the throat closed, protecting the animal's airway. Unlike other species, the tongue plays no part in feeding.

مگرمچھ کی زبان نہیں چلتی ہے۔  یہ جھلی کے ذریعہ منہ کی چھت پر جگہ پر رکھا جاتا ہے۔  کیونکہ مگرمچھ پانی کے اندر بہت زیادہ وقت صرف کرتے ہیں ، لہذا زبان گلے کو بند رکھنے میں مدد کرتی ہے ، اور جانوروں کے ہوائی راستے کی حفاظت کرتی ہے۔  دوسری پرجاتیوں کے برعکس ، زبان کھانا کھلانے میں حصہ نہیں لیتی ہے۔

New research published in the journal Cancer, Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention shows that exercise like walking may reduce a person's risk for cancer. The researchers found that postmenopausal women who were very active or walked for at least seven hours a week had a reduced risk for breast cancer. The researchers looked at a cohort of 73,615 postmenopausal women who reported their physical activity and found that women who participated in vigorous physical activity every day had a 25% lower risk for breast cancer, and women who walked for at least seven hours a week had a 14% lower risk for breast cancer. Given that 60% of women report some type of daily walking, the researchers say promoting walking as a leisure time activity can have protective benefits for women. Scientists have shown that the average person blinks 15-20 times per minute. That's up to 1,200 times per hour and a whopping 28,800 times in a day—much more often than we need to keep our eyeballs lubricated.
