Myrmecology is a branch of entomology focusing on the scientific study of ants. Some early myrmecologists considered ant society as the ideal form of society and sought to find solutions to human problems by studying them.


Their diversity and prominence in ecosystems has made them important components in the study of biodiversity and conservation. Recently, ant colonies are also studied and modeled for their relevance in machine learning, complex interactive networks, stochasticity of encounter and interaction networks, parallel computing, and other computing fields.



مائرکیمولوجی چیونٹیوں کے سائنسی مطالعہ پر توجہ مرکوز کرنے والی حیاتیات کی ایک شاخ ہے۔  کچھ ابتدائی ماہر ماہر ماہرین چیونٹی معاشرے کو معاشرے کی مثالی شکل سمجھتے تھے اور ان کا مطالعہ کرکے انسانی مسائل کا حل تلاش کرنے کی کوشش کرتے تھے۔


 ماحولیاتی نظام میں ان کی تنوع اور اہمیت نے انہیں جیوویودتا اور تحفظ کے مطالعہ میں اہم اجزاء بنا دیا ہے۔  حال ہی میں ، چیونٹی کالونیوں کو مشینی سیکھنے ، پیچیدہ انٹرایکٹو نیٹ ورکس ، انکاؤنٹر اور انٹرایکشن نیٹ ورک ، متوازی کمپیوٹنگ ، اور دیگر کمپیوٹنگ شعبوں میں ان کی مطابقت کے لئے بھی مطالعہ کیا گیا ہے اور ان کی تشکیل کی گئی ہے۔

New research published in the journal Cancer, Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention shows that exercise like walking may reduce a person's risk for cancer. The researchers found that postmenopausal women who were very active or walked for at least seven hours a week had a reduced risk for breast cancer. The researchers looked at a cohort of 73,615 postmenopausal women who reported their physical activity and found that women who participated in vigorous physical activity every day had a 25% lower risk for breast cancer, and women who walked for at least seven hours a week had a 14% lower risk for breast cancer. Given that 60% of women report some type of daily walking, the researchers say promoting walking as a leisure time activity can have protective benefits for women. Scientists have shown that the average person blinks 15-20 times per minute. That's up to 1,200 times per hour and a whopping 28,800 times in a day—much more often than we need to keep our eyeballs lubricated.
